Bio (Portfolio)

My Name is Tammanna Ansari, I was born and raised in India. Dubai, UAE
holds a special place in my heart as my second home. I am a digital
calligrapher who discovered a deep passion for Islamic Arabic Calligraphy in
2013 after studying the Quran in Arabic.
Even as a child, I was drawn to colors and enjoyed creating artwork
featuring sun and moon motifs. My love for depicting sunsets, sunrises and
the gleaming full moon knows no bounds. The allure of crafting sun and
moon paintings digitally captivates me, as digital art integrates technology
into the realm of creativity and artistic expression. Digital art can range from
hyper-realistic to abstract, offering endless possibilities. Utilizing various
digital brushes on the digital canvas allows me to explore and create
vibrant, unique, and captivating artworks.
My artistic journey is defined by my passion for playing with colors and
harnessing the transformative capabilities of digital techniques. I have
taken part in many art events in Dubai and one participation in international
(Jordon) and I also won the Merit prize in calligraphy from Dubai
International Art Center. And currently collaborated with Hayat Arts in
Dubai.
Arabic calligraphy embodies a harmonious blend of dots, points, edges,
and curves that form the quintessential elements of design. In my artwork, I
meticulously depict falcons, horses and flowers using the elegant strokes of
Arabic script, Arabic letters offer creative possibilities with elongated or
transformed motifs, adding depth to my work.
